A reduction in thyroid affects each cell in our body and produces a broad range of age-related problems. The thyroid gland is situated beneath the Adams apple in the throat. It produces a hormone known as thyroxine into the bloodstream. This hormone is able to control the body?s metabolism (the rate at which food converts into energy) at the correct pace and also control the body?s consumption of fat. A natural armour thyroid dosage contains all the thyroid hormones which mean the body does not have to struggle for this conversion and this is a reason why thyroid Armour and natural thyroid supplements are regarded by many as being superior.
Natural vs synthetic treatment
Armour for thyroid is a well renowned tried and tested way of establishing the problems linked to a fall in thyroid function.
You will nevertheless face a range of natural or synthetic supplements.
There is no doubt that it is almost better for you to take a natural thyroid extract like Armour natural thyroid or Nature. This is due to the fact natural supplements hold a greater range of thyroid hormones that include T3 and T4 and also T1 and T2. On the other hand synthetic hormones only consist of one thyroid hormone.
As we have seen TSH has an inverse relationship to thyroid hormone amounts. Measuring TSH amounts can establish whether thyroid hormone supplements are needed. Given the changes that exist in thyroid function occur with age, it is a good idea to watch the TSH levels occasionally as the aim would be to keep thyroid hormones at healthy young levels.
Those that suffer from subclinical hypothyroidism can take a small regular dose of whole natural thyroid supplements which can invoke a number of positive effects on the body.
Even if there is no obvious endocrine disease and you are above the age of 40 such a dose can increase your level of energy which lets you think more clearly.? A small regular dose can also help improve cardiovascular-protective function when consumed over a few years.
Armour and thyroid work well together to manage problems linked with hypothyroidism. Hypothyroid patients show a greater improvement in mood and functioning? of the brain when? being treated with Armour thyroid rather than synthetic supplement.?
Armour thyroid dosage
The dose amounts of natural whole thyroid supplements vary on your age and the condition of your thyroid. Thyroid doses are calculated in grains with one grain being equal to 60 mg.
A grain or more usually needs to be temperature watched and an occasional blood test as the doses at this level are powerful.
Usually those with serious thyroid conditions are prescribed a dose of one grain or more, maybe up to 3-5 grains on a daily with doses being raised slowly under the doctor?s supervision.
A dose of a quarter to half a grain of whole natural thyroid supplementation (with a possibility of increasing to 1 grain after a few weeks if required) is normally used when a person is looking to support failing thyroid function because of age. Observation and frequent breaks maybe needed.

We?ve discussed some ways to build credit without a credit card in the past, but the folks at Get Rich Slowly have a few additional suggestions, including taking out a small personal loan with a trusted bank or credit union and paying it down on time, and trying out a secured credit card that you load up with money and use like cash. Both options will build up your FICO score over time, and are great alternatives for people who don?t like or don?t trust credit cards.
Get Rich Slowly walks through exactly what makes up your FICO score, and points out that while credit cards are just tools that?with discipline and good money management?can enhance your financial life instead of destroy it, some people understandably don?t trust credit card issuers, or won?t trust themselves with a credit card.
For those people, it?s important to understand the differences between good and bad debt. A small personal loan for a pet project or a used car from a bank or credit union you have a long history with counts as ?good debt,? and as long as it?s easily added to your budget and paid on time, can do a lot to boost your score. There?s also the secured card option, which requires you to put down as much money as you?re willing to use it for, and as you spend your collateral, you use up the card until you ?charge it up? again, as it were.
As a last resort, they?like we did?suggest biting the bullet and getting a card anyway, but they also pay a nod to the cash-only movement, or the people who dismiss FICO entirely because they manage their finances so even high-dollar purchases like homes and vehicles that traditionally require loans are payable with cash. What do you think? Are you a cash-only believer, or do you believe it?s not the cards that put people in debt, but the people themselves? Share your thoughts in the comments.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? The House rejected a budget pushed by its most conservative members on Thursday and moved toward approval of a $3.5 trillion plan backed by Republican leaders that would revamp Medicare, slice everything from food stamps to transportation and reject President Barack Obama's call to raise taxes on the rich.
The conservatives' package, defeated 285-136, featured sharp reductions in planned spending for Medicaid and other domestic programs. It claims to turn this year's $1.2 trillion federal deficit into a balanced budget in five years ? which most analysts consider unachievable because few lawmakers would vote for the package's proposed cuts.
None of the competing budgets by Ryan, President Barack Obama or House Democrats claim to balance the budget within the next decade.
Underlining the growing influence of tea party and other conservative Republicans, a clear majority of GOP lawmakers voted for the conservatives' plan. It was defeated because virtually every Democrat voted against it.
The main GOP blueprint by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis., was headed for all but certain House passage Thursday, mostly along party lines. It faces a demise that is just as sure in the Democratic-run Senate, which plans to ignore it, but the battle remains significant because of the clarity with which it contrasts the two parties' budgetary visions for voters.
Republicans were focused on sharper deficit reduction and starkly less government than Democrats wanted and were proposing to lower income tax rates while erasing many unspecified tax breaks. Obama and Democrats were ready to boost taxes on families making above $250,000 and on oil and gas companies, add spending for roads and schools and cull more modest savings from domestic programs.
"This is the American taxpayers' money, and we ought to be more protective of it," House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, told reporters Thursday.
Democrats said they, too, were eager to stanch deficits that now exceed $1 trillion annually. But they said it needed to be done in a more balanced way, with rich and poor alike sharing the load.
"It's a path to greater prosperity ? if you're already wealthy," said Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, top Democrat on the Budget panel, mocking the "Path to Prosperity" title Ryan has given his document. "Because our Republican colleagues refuse to ask millionaires to contribute one cent to deficit reduction, they hit everyone and everything else."
In another vote expected Thursday, Democrats were pushing a measure featuring pumped-up spending for education and new tax credits for companies creating jobs and raising wages, while claiming savings from winding down the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, government waste and reductions in farm payments. It was destined for defeat.
Underscoring the prickly partisan gulf over how to tackle the budget's drastic imbalances, the House late Wednesday on a 382-38 vote easily shot down a compromise, bipartisan deficit-cutting plan by moderates of both parties that mingled tax increases with spending cuts.
The measure was modeled roughly on a package produced by Obama's deficit-reduction commission. The commission's plan drew praise from prominent deficit foes but was treated coolly by Obama and congressional leaders of both parties.
The House also voted 414-0 Wednesday to reject Obama's budget, with Democrats accusing the GOP of forcing the vote to embarrass them. Democrats were concerned Republicans would use campaign ads to link Democrats who supported Obama's plan to all of its details, including tax increases and boosts for unpopular programs.
Congress' budget is a nonbinding road map that suggests tax and spending changes that lawmakers should make in separate, later legislation.
Particularly with voters deciding control of the White House and the Capitol in November, the two parties are sure to stalemate each other's budgetary priorities until after the election.
The House GOP budget would cut spending by $5.3 trillion more over the next decade than Obama's would ? out of more than $40 trillion that would still be spent during that period. It envisions repeal of the president's health care overhaul and sets a course for deep reductions for highway and rail projects, research and aid to college students and farmers while easing planned defense cuts.
It also would cut taxes by $2 trillion more than the president over that time, leaving Republicans seeking about $3.3 trillion in deeper deficit reduction than Obama.
Drawing the most political heat was Ryan's plan for Medicare, the $500 billion-a-year health insurance program for older Americans that all agree is growing so fast that its future financing is shaky. Both parties know that seniors vote in high numbers and care passionately about the program.
Republicans would leave the plan alone for retirees and those near retirement, letting the government continue paying much of their doctors' and hospital bills.
For younger people, Medicare would be reshaped into a voucher-like system in which the government would subsidize people's health care costs, which Republicans say would drive down federal costs by giving seniors a menu of options that would compete with each other. Democrats say government payments won't keep up with the rapid inflation of medical costs, leaving many beneficiaries struggling to afford the care they need.
"It ends the Medicare guarantee," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said of Ryan's budget.
"This plan doesn't end the Medicare guarantee," said Rep. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz. "Arithmetic does. Unless we change something, unless we put it on a solvent footing, the Medicare guarantee is gone."
Republicans would turn Medicaid, the nearly $300 billion-a-year federal-state health insurance program for the poor, into a grant that states could use as they wish. They also would trim its growth by $800 billion over the next decade.
Stunning new visuals of the brain reveal a deceptively simple pattern of organization in the wiring of this complex organ.
Instead of nerve fibers travelling willy-nilly through the brain like spaghetti, as some imaging has suggested, the new portraits reveal two-dimensional sheets of parallel fibers crisscrossing other sheets at right angles in a gridlike structure that folds and contorts with the convolutions of the brain.

How conservatives lost faith in science
This same pattern appeared in the brains of humans, rhesus monkeys, owl monkeys, marmosets and galagos, researchers report Thursday in the journal Science.
"The upshot is the fibers of the brain form a 3-D grid and are organized in this exceptionally simple way," study leader Van Wedeen, a neuroscientist at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, told LiveScience. "This motif of crossing in three axes is the basic motif of brain tissue." [Inside the Brain: A Journey Through Time]
The organized brain
The surface of the brain contains about 40 billion nerve cells, each making about 1,000 connections in a pattern that brain researchers have yet to decipher, said Marsel Mesulam, the director of the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center at Northwestern University. Mesulam, who was not involved in the study, called Wedeen's work "very exciting."
"There can be no more fundamental question in philosophy, in psychology," Mesulam told LiveScience. "The human brain is the single most complex device in the known universe, and it works by nerve cells talking to each other. If we can't figure out how they decide who to talk to and what they tell each other, we just don't understand how the brain functions."
Using a technique he developed called diffusion spectrum magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Wedeen traced the movement of water molecules along the intersections of brain fibers (the cellular projections that form the brain's communication network), tracking the orientation of each fiber at each crossing.
"What emerged was astonishing," Wedeen said. "What emerged was that the set of fibers that crossed a given fiber, invariably ? and that's a really strong invariably ? look like mutually parallel fibers all coming in like the teeth of a comb and crossing it in one direction." [See video of the brain structure]
Animal studies had suggested this pattern might exist, and researchers already knew that the nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain stem were organized in very structured parallels and perpendiculars even in humans (consider the long nerve fibers that run down the backbone and then branch out perpendicularly from the vertebrae). But it's difficult to get high-resolution scans of fiber connectivity in the human cortex, given that humans tend to become uncomfortable if left in an MRI scanner for more than 45 minutes or so, Wedeen said. For that reason, images of human brain connections have tended to look like tangled spaghetti, he said.
Wedeen and his colleagues scanned four types of primate brains from deceased animals, enabling them to image the brains for up to 48 hours, as well as brains from living human subjects using a new scanner that can achieve 10 times the resolution of conventional MRI machines. Using special software, the researchers then reconstructed three-dimensional images of the brain-fiber pathways.
"Looking across multiple species, it emerged that the pattern was substantially similar," Wedeen said. "When you went from primates with small brains to primates with big brains ? the rules were the same, but they were being applied more diversely and with more layers in the larger, more complex brains."
Adaptable brain
The finding of clear up-down, front-back and side-to-side organization in the brain makes sense, Wedeen said, given that the brain has had to rewire both evolutionarily (to form the specialized brains humans boast today) and during its lifetime (as it grows and learns, for example). If the organization of communication were chaotic, that wouldn't work.
"It's like rewiring your basement at random," Wedeen said. "First thing that happens, house burns down, you die."
In other words, adapting a complexly wired brain that will still allow the next generation to survive would be next to impossible.
"If you try to picture what would happen if you tried to turn one spaghetti brain into a different spaghetti brain, you realize you would need an impossibly knowledgably intelligent designer standing above the brain and rewiring it," Wedeen said.
With an organized grid structure, however, evolution can easily build on what came before ? adding in a more complex forebrain in humans versus our monkey relatives, for example.
More work should be done to link the imaging methods of Wedeen with traditional neuroanatomy methods to confirm the findings, Mesulam said. Wedeen plans to expand the map of the human brain into more detail. It's also important to understand the relationship between a brain's structure and its function, he said. Understanding the structure of a typical brain would ultimately help scientists comprehend what happens when brain development goes wrong, as in Alzheimer's or mental illness.
"Say somebody comes to you with their 2-year-old and they say, 'My 2-year-old is just not looking me in the eyes.' Is this the first sign of Asperger's or just an individual difference?" Wedeen said. "You'd know how to begin. You'd know what you were doing."

If you're finding that the digital compass on your phone keeps leading you down the wrong path, then this patent application from Sony might get you back on track. The claims entail a wireless communication device (aka phone) configured to communicate with a headset. The novelty being, that using orientation information from the headset, the wireless device would determine which direction the user is looking. Based on this information (and your GPS coordinates), the device would then be able to "predict a destination location for the user." Is this hinting at a new navigation system / accessory, or some neat little tool for geocachers? One thing's for sure, if you point your head towards the source link below, you'll locate the full details.
New Nuclear Build and Manufacturing Program to address UK's capability gapPublic release date: 29-Mar-2012 [ | E-mail | Share ]

A joint project between the universities of Manchester and Sheffield for a New Nuclear Build and Manufacturing (NNUMAN) programme has been awarded 4m funding by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) to research innovative manufacturing for the future of the UK's nuclear power supply.
A recent House of Lords' Science and Technology Committee report Nuclear Research and Development Capabilities identified insufficient research and development capacity as a potential threat to the UK's ability to produce power from nuclear energy.
The proposal from Manchester and Sheffield addressed this concern by promoting research and development to evolve a robust civil nuclear power supply to meet UK and global energy needs well into the future with significant work on the fundamentals of manufacturing for new nuclear new build and the next generation of power stations.
By acting as the research engine for nuclear manufacturing, NNUMAN will drive progress and step-change technologies up the Technology Readiness Scale. The most improved manufacturing processes developed in NNUMAN will be taken forward to prototype in the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC) in Rotherham and the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) to enable UK manufacturing companies to learn the benefits of the new methods and use them in the future.
Through a programme of multi-disciplinary research at Manchester and Sheffield, the next generation of nuclear manufacturing scientists and engineers will be trained with the highest level of academic and technical support, using world-class facilities and with strong links to industry. They will develop high level skills in readiness to fill new high-quality jobs throughout the supply chain created through the growth in the manufacturing sector linked with nuclear build.
Professor Dave Delpy, EPSRC's Chief Executive, said:
"Several years ago EPSRC recognised the importance of maintaining an expertise in nuclear engineering in the UK, and made a strategic investment in postgraduate training through its Keeping the Nuclear Option Open (KNOO) initiative and subsequent funding programmes. The New Nuclear Build and Manufacturing programme builds on these earlier investments and will play a key role in helping develop new manufacturing techniques that will lead to materials that can function more effectively in the hostile operating environments of a nuclear reactor. Having a cutting edge capability in these fields will mean we have a stronger foothold in the manufacturing sector and are able to attract the best students and researchers to the UK."
Professor Andrew Sherry, Director of the Dalton Nuclear Institute at The University of Manchester, said:
"Innovation in manufacturing technology for new nuclear build offers the UK a real growth opportunity. We are delighted that NNUMAN will now be the research engine that drives this forward. "
Professor Keith Ridgway, programme director of the Nuclear AMRC and Executive Dean of the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Institute, said:
"This funding will help us to look at the longer term manufacturing research needs of the nuclear industry. The work we will do in the NNUMAN project will feed directly into the applications-directed work of the Nuclear AMRC."
Mike Burke, Director of Research & Technology, Nuclear AMRC and Programme Director, based at the Dalton Nuclear Institute's Manufacturing Technology Research Laboratory at The University of Manchester, said:
"This programme grant is a foresighted investment that will enable the pursuit of new and more efficient manufacturing technologies while maintaining the standards of reliability and safety that are expected in the nuclear industry.
"It also represents an exciting opportunity for our next generation of scientists and engineers to develop state-of-the-art understanding of new processes and product performance."

An unprecedented open society of bottlenose dolphins has just been identified in Western Australia.
Most mammals, including humans, live in areas with boundaries. This population of dolphins, described in the latest Proceedings of the Royal Society B, has no such limits, even though dolphin relationships can be incredibly intense.
?Other mammals with complex social relationships live in a semi-closed group based on one or more reproductive females,? co-author Richard Connor told Discovery News, explaining that the groups or territories of these other animals ?are defended by one or both sexes.?
NEWS: Are dolphins the world's second-smartest animals?
?An open society is one without such defended boundaries,? added Connor, a biology professor at UMass Dartmouth.
He and colleagues Srdan Randic, William Sherwin and Michael Krutzen examined the ranging and behavior of over 120 adult dolphins in a large study area at Shark Bay, Western Australia. They focused on males and their very complex social lives.

Scientists take a look inside a jury's brains
Science editor Alan Boyle's blog: Jurors show a characteristic pattern of brain activity when they decide to be lenient on a criminal, and the strength of that pattern can vary from juror to juror, researchers say.

Male bottlenose dolphins also were found to engage in extensive bisexuality, combined with periods of exclusive homosexuality. Male pairs, or even trios, cooperate to sequester and herd individual females during the mating season. Most males are also members of second-order alliances consisting of four to 14 males. Such relationships appear to be long-lasting, with one known seven-member group still intact after 17 years.
At first the researchers thought the dolphins lived somewhat like chimpanzees, since male bonding is strong, but in chimps can also lead to patrolling and defending community territory. But because of their open watery range, the Shark Bay dolphins may instead have ranges that overlap with those of other dolphins in the area.
VIDEO: Dolphins invent a new way to hunt fish
While dolphins can be aggressive, their ?make love not war? lifestyle seems to be more peaceful than that of some other mammals, possibly even humans.
?We have seen precious little aggression between females,? Connor said. ?It does occur and is probably less frequent and more subtle.?
As for males, even though ?they are capable of serious aggression,? he said, ?they don?t squabble constantly.?
Terrestrial mammals may simply be more tied to a home base or hearth, although survival can depend on mutual dependence for both humans and dolphins.
Connor and his team believe that odontocetes (dolphins and sperm whales), humans and elephants form a ?big three? group in the animal kingdom, since we all have big brains, have complex social lives, can display overlapping ranges, and have a relatively low physical cost of locomotion. Elephants have the lowest cost of locomotion recorded for any terrestrial animal.
?Elephant babies can?t run or hide ? they are just big steaks,? Connor explained.
It could then be that certain shared circumstances among the ?big three? animals favor alliances, which could have driven big brains, social cognition and more.
NEWS: Dolphin intelligence explained
Somewhat similar pregnancies might also link the big three. Elephants endure a 22-month pregnancy. Pregnancies clearly slow human moms-to-be. The same holds true for dolphins.
Shawn Noren from the Institute of Marine Science, University of California at Santa Cruz, recently donned scuba gear and followed some pregnant female dolphins. Noren found that they ?had huge protrusions where the fetus was sitting towards the back end of the body.? This caused the females to move less and more slowly, relying on their pod for protection and cooperative feeding.
Despite the open society existence, life isn?t all joy for male dolphins either.
?I work on the male dolphins, and their social lives are very intense; it seems there is constant drama,? Connor said.
?I have often thought, as I watched their complicated alliance relationships, that their social lives would be mentally and physically exhausting, and I?m glad I?m not a dolphin," he said.
TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) ? A woman in Taiwan killed herself by inhaling poisonous fumes while chatting with friends on Facebook and none of them alerted authorities, police said Tuesday.
Claire Lin killed herself on her 31st birthday, March 18, and family members who reported her suicide were unaware of the Facebook conversations that accompanied it, Taipei police officer Hsieh Ku-ming said.
Lin's last Facebook entries show her chatting with nine friends, alerting them to her gradual asphyxiation. One picture uploaded from her mobile phone depicts a charcoal barbecue burning next to two stuffed animals. Another shows the room filled with fumes.
One friend identified as Chung Hsin, told Lin, "Be calm, open the window, put out the charcoal fire, please, I beg you."
Lin replied: "The fumes are suffocating. They fill my eyes with tears. Don't write me anymore."
A few of the Facebook friends chatting with her tried to stop her and track her down on their own, but none called police. Chung did not respond to attempts to reach him for comment.
Lin's last words, in Chinese, were: "Too late. My room is filled with fumes. I just posted another picture. Even while I'm dying, I still want FB (Facebook). Must be FB poison. Haha."
Lin's Facebook postings indicated she was unhappy because her boyfriend was ignoring her, and had failed to return home to be with her on her birthday. Her boyfriend found her body the next morning and alerted her family, Hsieh said.
Hsieh said he regretted that none of her friends called police to help her during the 67-minute episode, but he added it may have been difficult for them to know her whereabouts because of the nature of social media.
"It could be true that it would be hard to track down a Facebook friend without her address or phone contact," Hsieh said.
Chai Ben-rei, a sociologist at Taiwan's Feng Chia University, said the incident reflected social isolation in the Internet age.
"People may have doubts about what they see on the Internet because of its virtual nature, and fail to take action on it," he said.
In a statement, Facebook said the company is deeply saddened by Lin's death and that the case serves as a "painful reminder of how people can help others who are in distress or need assistance."
Facebook's help page has links to suicide prevention hotlines in about 20 countries, including Taiwan, where the Taiwan Suicide Prevention Center's phone number and website are listed.
In the case of an emergency, however, Facebook urges users to call authorities immediately.

Look, how many bits you choose to process in the privacy of your own home is entirely your business, but don't expect the latest Photoshop to work on anything less than a 64-bit multi-core Mac running a minimum of Snow Leopard. Adobe's update brings a compute-heavy 'Mercury Graphics Engine' as well as better 3D and video manipulation, with the sacrifice of 32-bit support unless you're running Windows -- although even then certain features will be limited. The message is clear: jump on the upgrade treadmill or sacrifice 65 user-feedback-inspired features and a new crop tool.

3051 Antelo View Dr, Los Angeles, California For sale: $6.995 million
He was the mastermind behind TV juggernauts "Jeopardy" and "Wheel of Fortune," and the host of a popular, syndicated talk show. Later in life he was a real estate investor. A unique L.A. property he owned just returned to the market for $6.995 million.
If you guessed Merv Griffin, you guessed right.
Griffin's former home is listed on the Bel Air real estate market for the first time in 20 years. Griffin sold the home to another celebrity in 1992 for $3.65 million.
The home was built in 1989 by a local real estate agent, who also had a penchant for designing and flipping homes, says listing agent Billy Rose of luxury brokerage The Agency. Attracted to the open floor plan and private location, Griffin bought the property.
Not much has changed since Griffin bought it Rose said. "It's what Merv enjoyed ? that old Hollywood feel to it."
One aspect that attracted Griffin, as well as numerous other Hollywood A-listers, to the area is its location. While the enclave is secluded, "a little off the beaten path," says Rose, it's still easily accessible and gives residents multiple ways to get to the city.
It's these factors that led Farrah Fawcett, Wilt Chamberlain, Prince, Mariah Carey and Beyonc? to buy homes in the area.
Some of the current neighbors are even in the process of increasing the security and privacy of the area with the installation of a gate to the main road.
Located at the end of the long drive ending in a circular motor court, Griffin's former home boasts 5,600 square feet of living space, four bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms. Details like octagonal wood-paneled ceilings and enormous lodge-like posts add dramatic flair to the property.
Outside, the 2.5-acre grounds feature an infinity pool and spa as well as a tennis court installed by Griffin, who was an avid tennis player.

High ceilings, carved beams and an open floor plan define the home.

You must never think of sales training as a cost being carried by your company. Rather think of it as an investment you must seriously consider for achieving both your strategic and tactical goals. How sales training benefits you is discussed below.
Sales training works for you, whether you are a small and medium enterprise with a small team or you manage a large integrated sale-force team. The straight benefit which you will see soon after the completion of a business sales training will be the increase in your sales figures. So in a short while, the truly worthy training courses would pay for themselves. While the incremental margin will easily pay for the sales training investment, you will enjoy another additional benefit of increasing your sales skillset. Post the training sessions, you will be left with a heightened skillset and a willingness to try new things. You will find yourself equipped with more sales knowledge which you can use to make more sales.
Another great benefit you will see stemming from sales training is the rapid expansion of your ideas base. The mundane and routine will be left behind and the sales training course will act as a kind of internal brainstorm for you. You and your team will learn to think in new ways after getting expert insights during training. As you know, new ideas lead to new methods and innovations, new techniques and overall more and better sales, service and delivery.
Your employee who used to roam around the office looking tired and worn out will seem to have a new spring in his step post the sales training session. This is because the training will increase his confidence to a great extent. Confidence is the key in selling and confidence comes from knowledge. The sales training will make your employee proficient in learning and development; which will lead to his increased confidence. When your sales team will be confident of the success of their new ideas, they will implement them well and come out with powerful results. With increased confidence, better motivation is not far behind. A sales training course has been proven to be very effective in increasing motivation. You know that for good and sustained and growing sales, your sales force needs to be motivated, and engaged. When you enrol your employees in for training, they will increase their knowledge and will also hope to increase their commissions by increasing sales. So, as an increased opportunity for commission will ensure a more motivated sales team, you will have less absenteeism levels and sick leave requests.
When your employee is motivated, he is performing well and is getting good incentives, why would he want to leave? So, increased retention of staff is another great benefit of sales training. For any business, losing good employees is a massive drain. Compare the costs of a sales training with the huge costs of recruiting new employees and you will see that sales training costs are less and lead to more knowledgeable and well trained employees. If you invest in your employees, they will appreciate you and will invest their hard work in your business
With business sales training , your sales team will have a better competitive edge over your rivals. They will use their new thinking, methods and techniques learnt at the sales training to beat your competition further. So, on the whole you will better your business and beat your rivals all with an effective sales training course! Think about it!
